William Frederick Hughes - "Civil Partner" To Richard Frederick West 

Died 24th August 2007 

Personal Assistant to a Board Of Directors-Heatsave Ltd-London. 

We live at Frinton-On-Sea. Essex.

Bill  had 2 brothers who were twins. Ron lives in Melbourne, Australia and Pete lives in Barking, Essex.

Bill died from a stroke nearly 3 weeks in Colchester Hospital-Essex.

Bill suffered a fall afew days before he was admitted to hospital.

We literally walked into the hospital to have a X-Ray on his chest.

After afew hours waiting, the onset of a stroke was beginning.

I met Bill in Summer 1969 at a party he was giving at his apartment in Barking.  

I was attracted to Bills personality and black curly hair immediately, Bill had a wonderful singing voice.

We became good friends and after a year we decided to buy our first house together in "Harpenden, Hertfordshire". 

We stayed there for anumber of years before moving to a bungalow at "Frinton-On-Sea, Essex with our 2 poodles "Candy" & "Sascha".

We both retired in December 1999 and we extended the bungalow and enjoyed the garden.

We had sme wonderful holidays with each other.

Going to "Thailand", "India" "Morocco" etc and Bills favourite every May to "Puerto Pollensa" in Majorca where we would meet up with long standing friends.

On 5th May 2006 Bill & I celebrated our love for each other by having a "Civil Partnership".

It was a wonderful Sunny Day and we both looked back fondly on it.

I will miss my Bill singing in the bungalow "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" He loved that song.

We had 38 wonderful years with each other and  I think myself lucky to have known such a unique gentleman.

I miss Bill very much.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of my Bill.

I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.
